Research Analyst - Regional Expert (Individual Contributor)

Reports to: Senior Research Manager
Job Type: Part-Time, Remote
Compensation: $200 to $2,000 USD per report

Position Overview

We are seeking talented Research Analysts from across all continents (Americas, Europe, Africa, Asia-Pacific, and the Middle East) to join our growing team of experts. As an individual contributor, you will be responsible for conducting in-depth research, analyzing geopolitical developments, and producing high-quality, actionable reports for our clients. You will work independently to ensure the accuracy, relevance, and strategic value of your reports.

Key Responsibilities

  • - Conduct comprehensive research on a wide range of topics, including political, economic, social, and cultural trends within your region of expertise.
  • - Produce detailed, data-driven reports that provide actionable insights for clients, tailored to the unique challenges and opportunities within your region.
  • - Continuously track political, economic, and security developments across your region, offering early warnings of potential risks or opportunities.
  • - Provide expert commentary and analysis on current events, emerging trends, and political risks that may impact business decisions for clients in your region.

Required Qualifications

  • - Deep knowledge of the political, economic, and cultural dynamics in your region (Americas, Europe, Africa, Asia-Pacific, or Middle East).
  • - Strong background in qualitative and quantitative research, with a focus on geopolitical risks, international relations, or business strategy.
  • - Ability to synthesize complex information into clear, concise, and actionable insights.
  • - Demonstrated experience in writing professional reports, policy briefs, or similar documents.
  • - Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Political Science, International Relations, Economics, History, or a related field.
  • - Fluency in English (additional proficiency in regional languages is highly valued).
  • - Strong ability to track and analyze data while maintaining a high degree of accuracy.

Preferred Qualifications

  • - A Master’s degree or equivalent in a relevant field is a plus.
  • - Established connections with local political, business, or academic circles that can aid in research and provide additional insight.
  • - Previous experience working with MNCs, SMBs, or political parties on geopolitical risk, market entry strategies, or political analysis.
  • - Familiarity with research tools, databases, and geopolitical risk software.
